Very delayed in Turntable Tuesday. Sorry! My oldest brother got me into this 70’s band called Renaissance when I was 7 (he was 16 or 17). We still listen regularly. This is their double LP from 1978. Side 3 song 1 “Can You Understand” playing (though “Ashes Are Burning” is probably my favorite on this one.

All those who are students or #youthleaders in #NJ and are a part of a #youthgroup - Justice-network.org which I am the resource/current event manager for is having a large rally event on Nov. 1st to equip students to be able to fight #humantrafficking or modern-day slavery. We want to encourage you to change how your generation faces this on-going and growing problem! We have 5 organizations so far that will be backing this or involved! If you want your youth group to go, have your leader contact me on twitter @justicepirate or email me at email@example.com - the leaders do have a meeting they can attend on Oct 7 to learn more too.

My current read these last fews days.
This is my favorite book ever, AND THIS VERSION TOO is the one I read when I was in 8th grade and still own. . .though mine is falling apart as it was also my mom’s from 1970 when she read it while deciding to marry my dad or not while engaged. What I love about this version of the book is that there are columns on the page rather than straight across each page. I have dyslexia and it was really terrible when I was a kid, and I think if the book were NOT in columns, I’d have the worst time reading it. LOVE THIS. Wish I had a nice clean copy like the person who posted this though. -justicepirate
